Objective
On completion of the course the student will have an overall understanding of industrial ventilation systems and the principles according to which they are selected and designed. The student is expected to understand the operational, design and selection principles of various industrial ventilation systems. The student is expected to be familiar with the special features of air conditioning in large halls, commercial kitchens, laboratories, clean rooms and spaces with electrical equipment and be able to take them into account in the design. The student is expected to know the most common local ventilation solutions and air curtain systems. The student is expected to be able to implement the industrial solutions for air filtering and heat recovery. The student is expected to know the target levels for indoor air in different kinds of industrial buildings.
