The student
• learns to use 3D CAD tools and methods productively in their design work
• is able to make appropriate use of different modelling methods and tools while taking into account technical and economic realities.

• Thin sheet tools
• 3D printing
• Appropriate use of modelling tools and software
• Data transfer between different 3D / CAD systems
• Visualisation tools
• Familiarisation with simulation tools
• Utilising VR in 3D CAD design
