Learning outcomes

On completion of the course, the student

Content

• The concept of innovation, development work management and building a development team
• Collaborative project and innovation work and assessment: brainstorming, future-oriented conceptualisation and design, customer and user understanding, contracts and copyrights, communicating, publishing, productisation, marketing and implementation planning
• Multidisciplinary teamwork, stakeholder activities and networking
• Innovation development tools and methods

Teaching methods

Lectures, group work, customer collaboration, seminar work.

Location and time

Week 35-41 Arabia Campus

Learning materials and recommended literature

Material given in the course. Lecture material.

Alternative completion methods of implementation

Development assignment done with a company. Development assignment in the textile industry. To be agreed with the responsible teacher in advance.

Internship and working life connections

Several different companies and stakeholders are involved in the project.

International connections

Course materials are in English and the course includes exchange students.

Student workload

270 hours of student work.

The course will be implemented as a multidisciplinary group work, also involving international exchange students.

The student
