• The student understands the importance of circular economy as part of sustainable development.
• The student is familiar with circular economy targets and supporting legislation.
• The student is able to compare different business models from the perspective of sustainable development and circular economy in the textile and clothing industry.
• The student knows key principles, stages and methods of service design and co-creation and is able to apply them in the quest for a circular economy.
• The student knows relevant circular economy actors in the textile and clothing sector.
• The student recognises innovations and technologies supporting circular textile economy, and understands their potential for business in their field.

The student knows the key principles and targets of the circular economy. The student is able to describe different circular business models. The student knows the key principles of service design and co-creation and the possibilities of their application. The student is able to name circular economy actors in their field as well as innovations that support the circular economy. The student has completed the assigned tasks and participated in learning situations.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows the key principles and targets of the circular economy as well as related legislation. The student is analytical about different circular economy business models. The student knows the key principles, stages and methods of service design and co-creation and the possibilities of their application in the context of circular economy. The student recognises relevant circular economy actors, innovations and technologies in their field, as well as their possibilities for textile and clothing business. The student has completed the assigned tasks and actively participated in learning situations.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student masters the key principles of the circular economy and knows the related targets as well as legislation. The student is able to compare different business models from the perspective of sustainable development and circular economy. The student knows the key principles, stages and methods of service design and co-creation and is able to apply them in the context of circular economy. The student knows relevant circular economy actors, innovations and technologies. The student understands and is able to analyze the possibilities of these for textile and clothing business, taking into account the situation and challenges of their operating environment. The student has completed the assigned tasks on time and participated constructively in learning situations.
