Objective

Students
- are familiar with the basic types of tissue in the body
- know the central scientific terms related to the human body
- master the basic structure and functions of the human body
- understand the principles of the regulatory system
- understand the central aetiology of diseases at cellular level and changes related to diseases
- understand the general principles of the recovery process at cellular level
- are familiar with the basics of oncology

Teaching methods

Student studies independently by student´s own timetable with instructions and materials of Moodle platform. Student is obliged to notice the times of examinations.

Exam schedules

There are two examinations: Pathophysiology 20 mins and Anatomy and Physiology 40 mins. You can take both exams three times. So you can do all, the exam, re-takes and raises in the Moodle.
You can see in Moodle when Examinations are open. You can take the last examinations at 30.4.2025.

Student´s instructions to Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology studies:
Start studying at once and study hard. Fill Anatomy assignments so that they become your own materials. Practice and check your knowledge with 5HP exercises. The term lists and teachers slides and recordings guide with the depth of your studies.

You´ll get the name of Moodle platform and your enrollment key as you are accepted into the course.

Assessment methods and criteria

Two examinations, evaluations 0-5
The weigh of Patophysiology is 1/5 and Anatomy and Physiology 4/5 in the final evaluation.

Bi returning the examinations the student insures student´s knowledge to be based on self doing and ethical work. Any fraud can lead to suspension from UAS for even one years time. UAS law 932/2014, 38 §. This means also that anyt usage of AI in examinations is forbidden.
