Objective
The course provides knowledge on managing Linux systems on embedded environment.
On completion of the course, the student
• knows how to take embedded systems requirements and constraints in account when managing Linux based embedded systems
• knows how to manage Linux systems on constrained environments and learns to think how to fulfill the requirements of an embedded Linux system
• understands how to evaluate Linux distributions feasibility for embedded environments.
Content
• Linux based operating systems for embedded operations
• Selecting the Linux distribution based on the required properties
• Preparing image for embedded use
• Managing Linux based systems in simulated environment
Evaluation scale
0-5
