Objective

Learning outcomes:
The students understand the importance of therapeutic occupation and continuous assessment as part of the occupational therapy process and enabling participation in the performance areas. The students critically assess the implementation of occupational therapy. The students understand the importance of multiprofessional cooperation and multidisciplinary information in enabling the client`s occupational performance. The students are practicing summarizing the effects of the client's occupational therapy and the progress of occupational performance. The students prepare recommendations and guidelines to advance occupational performance, participation and health, as well as to prevent problems of occupational performance. The students make a recommendation for further rehabilitation. The students know the most common mental disorders, the background factors affecting them, as well as research and treatment.

Teaching methods

Toiminnallisuuden mahdollistaminen 4:
- Itsenäinen opiskelu
- Exam-tentti Metropolian tai jonkun muun korkeakoulun Exam-tenttitilassa
- Kirjalliset tehtävät
- Ohjatut interventiot pareittain/pienryhmissä kampuksella tai jalkautuen kumppaneiden tiloihin.

Psykiatria:
- Perustuu opiskelijan itseopiskelumateriaaliin. IO-materiaalista koostetaan yhteenveto, josta palautus. Lisätietoa tehtävästä orientaatiossa.
- Opetuskeskustelu: opiskelijoiden kysymysten pohjalta keskustelu. Kts. lukujärjestys.

Toiminnallisuuden mahdollistaminen 4: Interventio-osuus (1 interventio/ opiskelijapari) toteutuu HyMy-Kylän hyvinvointi- ja terveyspalveluissa Myllypuron kampuksella tai jalkautuen kumppaneiden toimipisteisiin 3.11-14.11.2025 välisenä aikana. Intervention valinta toteutuu 27.10.2025 aloituskerran aikana.

Further information

Aloituskertaan osallistuminen on pakollinen (tutkintosääntö 29: "Opiskelija vahvistaa paikkansa opintojaksototeutuksella olemalla läsnä opetuksen alkaessa"). Etukäteeni ilmoitettava poissaolo on korvattava. Käymme aloituskerralla yhdessä läpi opintojakson sisällön, tavoitteet ja tehtävät.

Mahdollinen opintojaksoon liittyvä Ahot-hakemus tulee tehdä ennen opintojakson toteutukselle ilmoittautumista.

Mikäli opiskelijalla on erityisen tuen päätös, joka vaikuttaa opintojakson suorittamiseen, tulee opiskelijan olla yhteydessä opintojaksototeutuksen vastuuopettajaan heti ilmoittautumisajan päätyttyä.

Huomioithan, että oppimistehtävissä tulee hyödyntää opintojakson tavoitteisiin soveltuvia ja/tai määriteltyjä lähteitä ja tekoäly voi toimia tukena omalle ajattelulle. Oppimistehtävien tekstiä ei voi muodostaa tekoälyllä. Mikäli hyödynnät tekoälyä oppimistehtävissä, tulee se mainita selkeästi.
