Objective
After completing the course student is capable of demonstrating an IoT device from smart connected device to server and client side application. The student understands the required technologies in order to design, test and integrate a smart system with the internet by visualising sensor data and controlling of their smart device over the web. Additionally software and hardware integration is supported through the completion of practical exercises.
Content
• Fundamentals of IoT Systems
• Server and Client side scripting (Nodejs, Express)
• Database integration (Mongo, SQL)
• IoT security
• HTTP, REST, HTML, CSS, Ajax, cookies, MQTT
• Various Javascript frameworks
Evaluation scale
0-5
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
