Objective

On completion of the course the student
- can plan the use of equipment on site, supervise works, monitor progress and write a final report
- knows the main regulations and instructions related to occupational safety
- can produce a site safety plan
- knows how to measure occupational safety
- can carry out the initial and maintenance inspection of scaffolding and machinery
- knows the main contents of safety regulations and related legislation.

The student knows basics about construction site technology and safety and
- can plan the use of equipment on site, supervise works, monitor progress and write a final report
- knows the main regulations and instructions related to occupational safety
- can produce a site safety plan
- knows how to measure occupational safety
- can carry out the initial and maintenance inspection of scaffolding and machinery
- knows the main contents of safety regulations and related legislation.
