Objective
The student is able to describe legislation and norms related to energy-efficient and low-carbon construction. The student is able to present and evaluate renewable energy production methods and integrate them with other building systems. The student is able to evaluate the effects of intelligent energy systems on improving the energy use of a building.
Content
Legislation, regulations and guidelines for energy efficiency and low carbon construction. Renewable energy production and integration of production methods into other building technology. Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI). Intelligent systems for controlling energy consumption in residential and office buildings. Utilizing Simulation for Sizing and Designing Renewable Energy Sources.
