- needs assessment for care and effectiveness of health promotion
- client-oriented nursing/public health nursing
- adult counselling and outpatient clinics

Laboratory and simulation studies
Supervised clinical practice in various nursing/public health nursing and health promotion environments
Theoretical studies to meet the demands of the clinical practice environment

Teaching methods

Population-based Health Promotion – Clinical Practice 10 cr X 27h= 270h
In practice 4 weeks and hours 160(6 ECTS) and lecturer in the cambus 40h (1,5 ECTS).
80h (3 ECTS) will be implemented in HyMy-Village.

Employer connections

Clinical practise in a Health Center, at outpatient councelling clinic or other similar environments and part timely in HyMy-village.

The student may choose professional studies of public health nursing after successfully completing the theoretical requirements of professional nursing studies as well as all the clinical practices in medical and surgical operating environments, unless otherwise agreed in the student's PSP.

Students must confirm their attendance for a course implementation by being present when tuition begins or in another manner agreed with the lecturer; for example, by returning the first course assignment. Students who are unable to attend the first teaching session due to illness may also confirm their attendance by informing the lecturer of this in advance.
