Objective

The student masters the key concepts of financial management and is familiar with the basics of economic organisation in the health care and social services system. The student is able to estimate the costs, impact and efficiency of health care and social services and knows the key factors affecting them.

The student is able to assess their organisation’s financial position and knows their responsibility in financial management. The student is able to utilise statistics and data generated by their organisation’s financial administration as a support for management.

The student knows how to stay updated on the buyer and supplier market for procurements in the field of health care and social services and is familiar with the tendering processes for public procurements.
