Objective
The student can recognise and name the structures of the bones in the cranium in detail. They can explain the structure and functioning of the temporomandibular (jaw) joint. The student can recognise and name the muscles of mastication and describe their functioning. The student is able to use foreign professional terminology.
The student is able to combine anatomic knowledge with palpation. The student is anatomically precise and develops their palpation skills. The student uses their knowledge in ergonomics when working with clients. The student can locate muscles using muscle activation and can evaluate the tonus of these muscles. The student examines and handles the tissues of the masticatory system manually.
The student self-assesses and develops their competence and learning methods in various learning environments. The student takes responsibility for collaborative learning and sharing knowledge in teams.
