Learning outcomes
After completing this course, students will be able to understand general cloud computing concepts and core services provided by Microsoft Azure.
Content
This course will provide basic level knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Microsoft Azure. The course can be taken as a first step in learning about cloud services and Microsoft Azure.
The course will cover general concepts about cloud computing and introduce different cloud computing models, such as Public, Private and Hybrid cloud and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
Other topics covered include some of the core Azure services and solutions, as well as key Azure services dealing with security, privacy, compliance and trust. Also included is pricing information and support services availability with Azure.
Teaching methods
Course material is available online. Course completion requires completing chapter exams, rehearse exams, and a final exam. Also required is an essay assignment.
