Objective
Kurssin suoritettuasi ymmärrät ikääntymisen tuomia vaikutuksia jalkaterveyteen, tunnistat yleisimmät ikääntyneillä esiintyvät alaraajaongelmat sekä osaat niiden hoitoperiaatteet. Osaat myös ohjeistaa ikääntynyttä jalkojen omahoidossa, jalkineiden arvioinnissa ja jalkaongelmien ennaltaehkäisyssä. Lisäksi saat tietoa siitä, miten jalkaterapiapalvelut on Suomessa järjestetty.
Content
Opintojakso on lähtökohtaisesti suunnattu terveydenhuoltoalan ammattilaisille ja opiskelijoille, jotka haluavat lisätä tietouttaan ikääntymisen vaikutuksista jalkaterveyteen ja saada keinoja jalkavaivojen ennaltaehkäisyyn ja hoitoon. Kurssi sopii myös muille ikääntyneiden jalkaterveydestä kiinnostuneille henkilölle.
Kurssi suoritetaan kokonaisuudessaan Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulun Moodle ympäristössä, johon kurssille hyväksymisen jälkeen osallistuja saa tarvittavat tiedot kurssin suorittamiseksi. Opiskelu on aikaan ja paikkaan sitoutumatonta.
