Objective

The aim of this study module is to deepen your knowledge in your major subject; Clean Production Technologies or Biotechnology and Food Engineering.

You will have the opportunity to explore one or more product groups within the field, delving deep into their characteristics and manufacturing processes through practical project work in a laboratory environment.

Furthermore, you will develop the skills to act as an expert in various research and development tasks and environments. Your abilities in information retrieval and critical evaluation will strengthen, and you will learn to use information purposefully. Additionally, you will acquire best practices in oral and written communication, applying them appropriately in various situations.

• Developing project plans and acquiring necessary materials and tools

There is no exam for the course; instead, the content consists of project and laboratory work, project planning, and project reporting as well as end presentation.

The student is able to:

Assessment methods and criteria

Participation in laboratory work is mandatory. Absences can be compensated by attending another lab group.

Assessment:
Communication: 40%
Project: 50%
Peer assessment: 10%

Course feedback, max +5 points

If more than 80% of students submit the course feedback (deadline: May 9th), all students receive +5 points in the final course score.
If more than 70% submit, +3 points are awarded.
If more than 60% submit, +1 point is awarded.

Grade thresholds will be announced later.
