Objective
After completing the course, the student will be able to
- apply the theoretical foundations of holistic well-being in building a sustainable future
at individual, community, societal and planetary levels of well-being
- develop activities promoting well-being in the face of unexpected and complex change in a
resource-wise manner, anticipating the future and respecting the carrying capacity of nature, and
exploiting the advances in technology, in particular artificial intelligence
- assess ethically complex phenomena and promote responsible solutions and
social responsibility in societal advocacy work while promoting sustainable well-being
Content
The conceptual dimensions of well-being and the holistic and systemic well-being theories in change management
The links between individual, community, societal and planetary well-being in managing the building of sustainable future
Resilience and systemic thinking in responsible management of well-being promotion
Harnessing technology for sustainable change in managing the promotion of well-being
Ethical values and principles in responsible societal advocacy and in promoting sustainable well-being through a variety of project and development contexts and their management
Social responsibility in management practices for the promotion of sustainable well-being

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
- The student demonstrates mastery of the basic content of the course and is able to apply it to practical management. He/she is able to independently acquire, analyse and interpret knowledge, but with an incomplete ability to apply theory and practice together.

- The student demonstrates a good command of the course content. He/she actively seeks information, analyses and interprets its key contexts. They will be able to evaluate their learning and apply it in practice.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
- The student demonstrates a comprehensive and wide-ranging knowledge of the course content. They will have excellent relevant knowledge acquisition skills and the ability to analyse and use the knowledge acquired. They demonstrate independence and responsibility in the decisions they make. They have a critical, exploratory, developmental and innovative approach to management and the future of the sector.
