Objective

The students are familiar with the stages of human growth and development (early childhood, childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age) and are able to analyze the factors affecting them. The students of the early childhood education path will be particularly familiar with the developmental stages of the child's early childhood.

Content

Key development theories. Human physical, mental, cognitive and social development and growth at different ages. The students of the early childhood education path will focus especially on the child's growth and development.

Attendance is required for the orientation lecture on 23.1. and for the learning task + exam on 4.3. Otherwise, 70% attendance is required for the lectures. If there are more absences, the student will be given a replacement reflection assignment, separately instructed by the teacher.

Changes to the information in the implementation plan are possible. Teachers will inform about the changes as early as possible.

Assessment methods and criteria

The overall assessment is based on the learning assignment and the group exam.

The exam will be a numerical assessment (0 - 5), which is the grade for the course. The learning assignment can increase the grade for the exam. In addition, you can contribute to the final assessment of the course by actively participating in the lectures.
