Objective
The course gives you future competencies for your own supervisory work and allows you to solve your leadership and management questions in a complex environment through systems thinking. You will also learn how you can use systemic coaching as a new method in your own work.

Teaching methods
The course will be implemented online in the autumn 2024.
The course includes lectures, group discussions and reflective sessions. The focus is on combining systemic leadership and coaching theories to practice and learn how to use different tools in organizations. The language of the course will be English.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Sufficient performance: has completed basic requirements to pass the course and has made an attempt to apply and articulate concepts and information both verbally and in writing but has not made enough effort overall. The student has demonstrated little effort, interest and motivation for individual or team activities / assignments and the output is rather weak.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Good overall performance: can apply and articulate concepts and information well both verbally and in writing, certain areas of individual or team output require further attention; shows appropriate level of interest and motivation in individual and team activities. Good presentation delivery and analysis.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Excellent performance in all elements of the course: shows interest and motivation in individual and team activities and assignments, fully applies and clearly articulates concepts and information both verbally and in writing. The student is able to support his/her argument with references to the recommended reading and lecture content. Excellent presentation delivery and analysis.

The student masters the theoretical background and reference frameworks related to systemic leadership and systemic coaching and knows how to apply them to his/her own work. His/her assignment includes plenty of reflection and insights based on the course material which create a coherent paper with relevant references.
Good (4-3)
The student partially masters theoretical background and reference frameworks related to systemic leadership and systemic coaching and has some ideas on how to apply them to his/her own work. His/her assignment includes some reflection and insights based on the course material. The student has used relevant references.
Satisfactory (2-1)
The student has some references and insights in his/her assignment re theoretical background of systemic leadership and systemic coaching and has some ideas on how to apply them to his/her own work. The assignment needs to be developed into a more coherent paper.
