Objective

Learning outcomes:
The students recognize changes and challenges in the health and well-being in society. The students anticipate the effects of societal changes on the client work of the occupational therapist and the functioning of the work community. The students participate in multidisciplinary collaboration to find solutions to the challenges in health and well-being. The students analyze and differentiate the impact of needs for change regarding the work of an occupational therapist and client processes. The students will be able to participate in the development of the client processes in occupational therapy. The students will be able to carry out research and development projects. The students are able to solve creative problems, develop working methods and apply knowledge and methods in their field. The students are looking for client-centered, sustainable, and economically viable solutions. The students know the forms and sources of societal influence. The students are able to participate in social impact activities and communicate through different channels to advance occupational equality and well-being.

The students participate in the international activities and cooperation in occupational therapy in different ways. The students familiarise themselves with international research and phenomena and their impact on the work of an occupational therapist. The students have the skills to meet and work with clients and communities from different cultural backgrounds. The students acquire necessary language skills.

- seek information from different sources and evaluate the source reliability in a purposeful manner,
- combine information from different sources into purposeful units as well as
