Objective

The student is able to use and apply key chemical phenomena related to laboratory work: the student understands the atomic structure and how elements are grouped in the periodic system. The student is able to make chemical reaction formulas with reactants and products and to solve calculations involving amounts of substances. The student is able to calculate the concentration and pH of a solution, is familiar with the most common organic compound classes and certain biomolecules.
