Objective
- identifies the characteristics of a healthy mouth
- is familiar with various oral self-care methods and devices
- understands the various operating environments of oral hygienists
- knows the effect of nutritional factors on oral health
- understands the importance of chemistry and microbiology in oral hygiene
- understands the basics of drug treatment and is able to perform drug calculations
- is familiar with the basics of monitoring vitals and is able to do it in practice
- understands the key aspects of liquid balance and securing it
