Learning outcomes

The student learns the tasks, basic concepts, and production methods of the motion graphics industry. The student gets to know the visual design of the moving picture, picture narration, and the principles of animation.

Prerequisites

The course has no prerequisites. If the student is applying to study in the Motion Graphics major of the Design degree program, the student must be eligible to apply as a University of Applied Sciences student.

Opintojakso on samalla Motion Graphics (Muotoilun tutkinto-ohjelma) kevään 2024 opiskelijavalinnan ensimmäisen osa. Opintojakso on hakijoille maksuton. Opintojakson tarkempi ohjeitus, tehtävänannot, materiaalit sekä arviointikriteerit löytyvät OMAsta. Opintojakso tehdään itsenäisesti aikavälillä 1.3.-19.4.2024. Opintojakso koostuu useista eri osioista. Kaikki opintojakson osat tulee olla suoritettuina hyväksytyksi opintojakson toteutusaikana, jotta koko suoritus voidaan hyväksyä. Opintojakson hyväksytysti suorittaneet saavat Metropolian avoimen ammattikorkeakoulun kautta 2 op. laajuisen suoritusmerkinnän. Suoritus sisällytetään osaksi opintoja niille hakijoille, jotka tulevat valituksi Motion Graphics pääaineeseen. Muista hakea myös yhteishaussa Opintopolun kautta. Ilman virallista hakemusta ei voi tulla kutsutuksi valintakokeeseen. Johdanto liikegrafiikkaan -opintojakson suoritus ei yksinään oikeuta pääsyyn valintakokeeseen ilman virallista yhteishakua. Opintojakson voi myös suorittaa avoimen ammattikorkeakoulun kautta ilman, että hakee yhteishaussa opiskelemaan Motion Graphicsiin.

Valintakokeen ensimmäisen osan perusteella kutsutaan 50 hakukelpoista hakijaa kokeen toiseen osaan. Valintakokeen toinen osa järjestetään Metropolian Arabian kampuksella. Tarkemmat tiedot valintakoekutsussa.

The student knows the field of motion graphics, basic concepts, and production methods. The student knows how to apply his skills and implement a visually high-quality moving graphics project that conveys the desired message insightfully. The student is in control of the techniques in use.
