Objective

The student deepens expertise in lighting design and will be able to design lighting for divers users in public spaces with lighting controls for changing situations. The student can choose and design illuminaires and calculate the amount of light with calculation program. Student will be able to make 3D illustrations of lighting design and illuminaires and compile documentation for the work. Student will present the work professionally.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student has partially achieved the objectives of the course. The student perceives the lighting design of various public spaces with its special features. The student knows their significance as part of the quality of the final design work. He is able to take the user's needs into account in the design. During the course, the student is able to take into account the suitability of different luminaires in his / her own work. He outlines how to do lighting calculation with a lighting calculation program. He has completed the duties approved.

The student has achieved the objectives of the course well. The student knows the whole related to the lighting design of different public spaces with its special features. The student knows the importance of the components as part of the quality of the final design work. During the course, the student is able to use and apply different aspects of lighting design in his / her own work. He is able to do lighting calculation with a lighting calculation program. He has completed the tasks of the course successfully and has been able to apply the lessons learned in completing them.

The student has excellently achieved the objectives of the course. The student has an excellent command of the lighting design of various public spaces with its special features. The student deeply understands the importance of the components as part of a high-quality design result. During the course, the student is able to use skillfully and apply different aspects of lighting design in an appropriate way in his or her own work. He has completed the tasks of the course, applying what he has learned with particular merit.
