Objective
After completing the course, the students are able to:
• understand the principles of CE (circular economy) and apply them to planning new business activities.
• understand the most important business models of CE and apply them to the clothing industry.
• identify business opportunities of CE and the clothing industry in the changing society.
• recognize the lifecycle of a project and act as an equal within a project group.
Content
Development project with varying content related to the CE theme. The business potential of CE in various stages of material flows: from raw materials through manufacturing to sales, use/consumption and back to circular flows of different levels. Circular economy business models and ecosystems: renewability, sharing platforms, product as a service, product life extension, resource efficiency and recycling. Identifying and eliminating leakages from flows. Entrepreneurship and start-ups within CE, successful CE solutions, preparing for future challenges.
