Objective

The students will explore design as a competition parameter and as a part of the strategic decision making process. They will learn to notice new product possibilities and understand the development process of new products.
The students will acquire basic information concerning the different areas of a controlled business image and its importance to business operations, production array, graphic image, physical environment and managing the whole formed by operation methods.

The students can describe the significance of industrial design as part of the company’s competitiveness and strategic planning. The students are able to interpret and analyze the company’s design strategy and the product portfolio.

The students can successfully describe the significance of industrial design as part of the company’s competitive factors and strategic planning. The students are able to successfully interpret and analyze the company’s design strategy and product portfolio. The students can apply the company strategy to designing the product array and to the product development.

The students can excellently describethe significance of industrial design as part of the company’s competitiveness and strategic planning. The students are able to interpret and analyze the company’s design strategy and product portfolio in an excellent way.
