Objective

The student is able to design a sauna building and place it naturally on the site, taking into account building regulations, terrain and surrounding architecture. The student is familiar with different building types, structural elements and their names and is able to choose appropriate building materials for the project.
The student masters the principles of building wet spaces, fireplaces and sauna and the relevant building regulations. The student is able to design and install HVAC equipment in furniture and understands the possibilities of installing installations in the building frame structures. The student is able to design bathrooms, toilets and saunas and is familiar with regulations and instructions regarding humidity and waterproofing. The student is able to draft building drawings and structural details using CAD software.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student has partially achieved the objectives of the course. The student outlines different types of buildings, structural parts and their names. He outlines the whole thing related to the design of a sauna building with its associated components. The student knows their significance as part of the quality of the final design work. During the course, the student is able to take into account the aspects of the design of different sauna buildings in their own work. He has completed the duties approved.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student has achieved the objectives of the course well. The student understands different types of buildings, structural parts and their names. He is familiar with the design of the sauna building as a whole and its components. The student knows the importance of the components as part of the quality of the final design work. During the course, the student is able to take into account the aspects of the design of a different sauna building in his / her own work. He is able to choose the appropriate building materials for the planned object. He has completed the tasks of the course successfully and has been able to apply the lessons learned in completing them.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has excellently achieved the objectives of the course. The student has an in-depth knowledge of different types of buildings, structural parts and their designations. He has extensive control over the design of the sauna building and its associated components. The student understands the importance of the components as part of the quality of the final design work. During the course, the student is able to skillfully and appropriately use building materials for the planned object. He has completed the tasks of the course, applying what he has learned with particular merit.
