Work Placement 1 (15 cr)

Objective

The student
• is able to recognise the work and career prospects in their field of study
• is able to work independently as well as a member of a team in basic tasks of their professional field
• is able to use and evaluate the skills they have learned in practice and is able to develop their professional skills at workplace
• is able to work constructively and responsibly as a member of the work community.
• is able to follow the health and safety procedures of the workplace and understand the occupational safety principles
• is able to reflect their learning and development.

Content

Work placement is carried out according to the placement guidelines of the degree programme.

The student
• has worked in own professional field at least the length of the placement period and has completed all the needed learning assignments
• has submitted work certificate, which shows that tasks and the length of the placement period are accepted
• has written a work placement report as instructed
If the student's performance does not meet the above mentioned criteria, the work placement is failed.
