Planning of the Thesis Work (5 cr)

Objective

The student will be able to
• identify questions and needs for development in their professional field and working life and plan solutions to them in accordance with the principles of sustainable development
• use reliable information from various sources to base and frame their work
• apply their professional knowledge and appropriate methods and working methods in their development work.

Content

• Familiarisation with the thesis process
• Contractual and permitting practices
• Familiarisation with the environment and planning of cooperation with working life
• Identifying the need for development
• Source-critical information gathering in Finnish and English
• Choice of working methods and methodologies
• Specifying the topic
• Drawing up and presenting a development plan

Seuraava musiikin opinnäytetyön suunnittelujakso kevätlukukaudella 2024.

Student workload

Työnteko painottuu kesäkuun kahdelle ensimmäiselle viikolle sekä elokuun kahdelle viimeiselle viikolle. Myös näiden välissä omaa työskentelyä. Aikataulutetut tilanteet 18 tuntia + omaa työskentelyä. Laskennallinen kokonaiskuormitus 5 op x 27 tuntia = 135 tuntia.

Ilmoittaudu myös syksyn 2023 Opinnäytetyön toteutus -opintojaksolle.

Voit saada opinnäytetyön valmiiksi syksyllä 2024 tai keväällä 2025, jos suoritat Opinnäytetyön suunnittelu -opintojakson kesäopintoina ja osallistut syksyllä 2024 Opinnäytetyön toteutus -opintojaksolle.

Edellytetään läsnäoloa opetus- ja ohjaustilanteissa. Varaa aikaa omalle työskentelylle. Materiaalit ja tehtävät Metropolian Moodlen työtilassa, suunnitelma palautetaan Wihi-järjestelmään. Opintojaksopalautetta kerätään palautejärjestelmässä sekä keskustellen viimeisissä opetustilanteissa.
