Objective
By the end of the course the students will:
- understand how the Finnish job market works
- understand what are the hidden jobs and how to find them
- have better job searching skills
- have contemporary job application documents
- have identified their strengths, skills and competencies
Content
By the end of the course the students will be able to:
- Write a CV and cover letter that resonate in Finnish job market
- Know how to utilize personal branding and LinkedIn on a job search
- Recognize hidden job opportunities
- Increase their professional networks
Location and time
This course implementation contains:
1) Compulsory kick-off session at Myyrmäki campus on Wed 25th Oct at 11:40-13:30 in classroom A215.
2) Individual learning and individual assignments
3) Individual feedback and guidance session with the lecturer (need to be booked in advance)
4) Optional but highly recommended CV and cover letter workshop at Myyrmäki campus (date and time to be confirmed)

This course is targeted at international students, especially from the fields of Technology and Business Bachelor`s Degree Programmes. This implementation is for Master's in Business Informatics students.
