Objective

The student is able to design interactive visual user interfaces for the digital environment. The student is able to take into account the requirements of usability, user experience and different terminals. The student knows the workflow for visual user interface design. Students are able to use appropriate tools in their design work.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to describe the factors influencing the usability and user experience of a digital user interface. The student is able to design a digital visual user interface taking into account the basic principles of usability. The student is able to use tools suitable for designing user interfaces.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to evaluate the usability and user experience of a digital user interface. The student is able to apply their knowledge in usability and user experience in designing a digital user interface. The student is able to utilize tools suitable for designing user interfaces and implement the user interface design process in a goal-oriented manner. The student is able to make solutions to problems in the usability and user experience of user interfaces and look for additional information to solve problems.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to evaluate the usability and user experience of a digital interface systematically and analytically. The student is able to apply their knowledge in usability and user experience in the designing a digital user interface producing high-quality end results. The student is able to utilize the tools suitable for designing user interfaces comprehensively and implement the user interface design process in a goal-oriented manner. The student is able to make insightful solutions to problems of user interface usability and user experience. The student is able to independently search for new information and apply it in their own design work.
