Objective

After the course, the student has a basic understanding of SQL language. The course will be blended distance learning.

- Structured Query Language (SQL) introduction
- Queries: SELECT and WHERE
- Tools to create a query
- Organizing results
- INSERT, UPDATE & DELETE
- Scalar functions
- GROUP BY
- AS
- Tables, querys on multiple tables
- CREATE, ALTER ja DROP

syntax:
- the student understands SQL syntax and is able to write simple SQL syntax with the instructor's help;

queries and result arrangement:
- the student understands what SQL queries and result arrangements are and is able to write and use them with the instructor's help;

database modification:
- the student understands what INSERT, UPDATE & DELETE are and is able to write and use them with the instructor's help;

syntax:
- the student understands SQL syntax and is able to write relatively complex SQL syntax;
- the student shows independent solutions.
