Objective

After the course student can:
- Master the principles of collaborative developmental skills and the interactive production of services.
- Understand what innovativeness is as an approach and use innovative methods in their work.
- Can take advantage of different facilitating methods
- Recognize ones own strengths and development needs in facilitated process
- Can plan documentation of process and analyse produced material
- Recognize the importance of facilitating and potential use as a tool in creative sector service design, decision making, co-development and co-learning
- Obtain information by trying out new products, services, events or methods in practice.

- Dialogical interaction, listening and group dynamic processes
- The importance of facilitating and potential for using as a tool in creative sector for development, decision process, co-development and co-learning
- Getting to know communal methods and their documentation
- Goal oriented facilitation

Exam schedules

After the official end date of the course, there is a two-week period for submitting/improving assignments (1st retake). Following that, there is an additional two-week period (2nd retake). After this period, the course is considered concluded, and any partial completions will not result in course credit.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student knows the relevance of facilitation based co-operation and interaction in developing the creative sector. The student recognizes own strengths and development areas as a facilitator.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student can develop his/her skills as a supervisor and facilitator and deepen interaction competences. The student is able to experiment, test and choose suitable facilitation techniques to different occasions and disseminate development oriented thinking to others. The student can collect data useing facilitation methods and analyse it.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student develops his/her skills as a facilitator of group situations and applies his/her dialogic interaction and group coaching competences. The student is able to reflect his/her actions as a coach and as a person being coached. The student can choose and justify the facilitation techniques to different needs and document and analyse the process and its outcomes critically.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student knows facilitation based technics and can apply them to research and development needs of the field of cultural production. The student can choose suitable technics to different work situations and act as a facilitator. The student can document and analyse the data collected in facilitated processes as part of research
