Objective

On completion of the course, the student
- can explain methods of constructing foundations and related requirements
- can explain how to protect groundwater
- knows basics of water pollution control
- knows basics of waste water treatment
- knows how environmental impact assessment influences environmental engineering.

- Soil and bedrock, their characteristics, groundwater
- The physical and hydraulic quality of the soil
- Water pollution control
- Waste water treatment on construction site
- Principles of Sustainable Development
- EIA (environmental impact assessment).

Lukkarikoneen mukainen aikavaraus. 24.1 on erityisen tärkeätä olla paikalla. Pääosin itsenäistä työskentelyä verkossa..

Lähi/etäopetus ja pääsosin tehtävien kautta oppimista ensimmäisellä opetuskerralla esitetyllä tavalla.

Student workload

Jokaisen kuukauden 15. ja 30 päivä on oppimistehtävän palautus. Tämän vuoksi on hyvä varata aikaa tehtäväaiheisiin tutustumiseen ja tehtävien tekemiseen 5 - 8 tuntia per viikko lukujärjestystuntien lisäksi.
