Students know open application interfaces and are able to utilize these in their own applications. They are able to carry out a small software development project and are able to document the resulting output at a sufficient level. Students know the principles of software testing.
Students become acquainted with mathematical-scientific concepts and tools that form the basis of engineering education. They understand the connection of these contents to different aspects of information and communication technology and are able to apply the methods they have learned in practical problem solving.
Students are able to act purposefully as a member of a group and communicate in Finnish appropriately in oral and written interaction situations.
