Students

Content

During this course, you will familiarize yourself with skills and knowledge of an elderly care professional, key study programme contents, professional tasks and blended learning studying in Metropolia’s Elderly Care Degree Programme. After completing the course, you can name the professional tasks of an elderly care worker, describe the skills and knowledge of an elderly care professional and explain what blended learning in the Elderly Care Programme of Metropolia UAS means.
You don’t have to borrow or buy books to complete this study programme. All materials are available in Moodle learning platform. The course is assessed by ‘pass’ or ‘fail’.
To pass the course, you have to complete all the tasks in the Moodle learning platform and pass all the exams at the end of the tabs. You can follow your progress on the Moodle progress bar on the right.

Assessment of performance is only done after the end of the study period.

This course is completed independently and anytime in Moodle learning environment, by 31 December 2023. All tasks have to be completed by the end of the course period.

The course extent is 1 ECTS, corresponding to approximately 27 hours of student work.
