Objective

On completion of the course the student can
- identify and understand the key competences needed to plan, manage and evaluate verbal communication situations in the work of a cultural manager
- observe and analyze speech communication in different situations
- plan performance and group communication situations
- illustrate, structure, justify and target their case according to the communication situation and purpose of the communication
- adapt their communication style and respond to the different domestic and international verbal communication situations required by the cultural manager profession
- give and receive feedback on verbal communication skills and realistically evaluate their own strengths and areas for improvement
- be motivated to further develop their speech communication skills

The student is able to name the key skills needed for planning, managing and evaluating speech communication situations in the work of a cultural manager. The student is able to plan performance and group communication situations related to the work of a cultural manager. They can illustrate, structure, justify and focus their case. The student is able to give and receive feedback on speech communication skills.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student knows the essential skills and significance of planning, managing and evaluating speech communication situations in the work of a cultural manager. They are able to observe and analyze speech communication in different situations. The student is able to plan performance and group communication situations related to the work of a cultural manager. They are able to illustrate, structure, justify and focus their communication taking into account the situation and purpose of communication. The student is able to adapt their communication style to the speech communication circumstances. The student is able to give and receive feedback on verbal communication skills and realistically evaluate their own strengths and development areas. They are motivated to develop their speech communication skills.

The student knows the essential skills of planning, managing and evaluating speech communication situations and is able to apply them to changing situations. They are able to observe and analyze speech communication in different situations. The student is able to plan performance and group communication situations related to the work of a cultural manager and to find alternative ways to deal with interaction situations. They are able to illustrate, structure, justify and target their case in a versatile way taking into account the situation and purpose of communication.The student is able to adapt their communication style and deal with the various communication situations required by the profession of cultural manager. The student is able to give and receive feedback on speech communication skills and realistically evaluate their own strengths and development targets. They are motivated to develop their speech communication skills.
