Objective

Students
- know how to apply the theoretical and clinical competence required by the clinical practice environment to their work
- are able to work adopting a client-oriented approach to maintaining and promoting clients’ and families’ health and wellbeing
- can implement public health nursing to support families’ resources and coping
- can apply evidence-based practices and methods to family-centered nursing
- can implement evidence-based public health nursing in maternity and child health clinics
- can adhere to ethical guidelines and principles of nursing and the ethical recommendations on public health nursing
- are able to work as responsible members of multiprofessional work groups and work communities
- are able to evaluate their competence and develop it further
- identify the development needs of public health nursing
