Objective

The student:
- is able to apply occupational and patient safety issues in prehospital care
- deepens his knowledge and skills in the prehospital care of different patient groups
- is introduced to more demanding and rare prehospital care incidents
- is able to justify his decisions from a emergency medical perspective
- broadens his knowledge to different medical specialties and their prehospital care possibilities in the future
- broadens his knowledge in the EMS provided home services and how they are produced
- is able to apply his acute care knowledge in the prehospital environment

- anesthesiology and advanced airway and ventilation management
- traumatology and critical trauma patients in prehospital care
- cardiology and advanced ECG interpretation
- neurology in prehospital care
- pediatrics in prehospital care
- safe prehospital delivery
- advanced pharmaceuticals in prehospital care
- EMS provided home services
- deeper knowledge on acute and prehospital care
- national EMS testing

Evaluating competences evaluation criteria expert level is used.

Prerequisites

A minimum of 90 credits of clinical nursing studies.
Acute and prehospital emergency care competence.
The student and tutor teacher go through other recommended studies in the HOPS discussions.
