Objective
On completion of the course, the student
• can responsibly develop innovative practical and concrete solutions, practices, products or services with multidisciplinary partners to meet the diverse future needs and current challenges in the metropolitan area
• is able to define the concept of innovation and take development methods into use
• is able to apply project and network-based work, creativity and competence in regional, national or international development work
• uses their personal skills and abilities to work in multidisciplinary collaboration and working environment
• creates a culture of cooperation and negotiation for successful teamwork

• The concept of innovation, development work management and building a development team
• Collaborative project and innovation work and assessment: brainstorming, future-oriented conceptualisation and design, customer and user understanding, contracts and copyrights, communicating, publishing, productisation, marketing and implementation planning
• Multidisciplinary teamwork, stakeholder activities and networking
• Innovation development tools and methods

Some of the project challenges are completely controlled online, and to participate in them, the student is required to use the camera in Team or zoom.
The student confirms his / her place in the course implementation by being present in the course orientation. If a student is unable to participate in the orientation due to illness, he / she confirms his / her place with the course implementation by sending a confirmation message to teacher in charge.

Content scheduling
Orientaatio ma 27.05.2024 klo 09.00 - 11.30 Zoomissa.
Ensimmäisen viikon 27.-31.5. projektitapaamisiin (ryhmäytyminen ja tilaajatapaaminen, ideointi) on välttämätöntä osallistua. Tarkista tarkempi ajankohta ja paikka sen haasteen haastelomakkeesta, johon olet päässyt mukaan.
Kesäkuun aikana ohjaava opettaja järjestää ohjaustapaamisia kaksi kertaa viikossa, esim. ma ja to. Muina viikonpäivinä itsenäistä projektityöskentelyä.
Heinäkuu on täysin itsenäistä projektityöskentelyä.
Kaikki tehtävät tulee palauttaa viimeistään 31.7.2024.
Elokuussa ohjaava opettaja järjestää vielä palautekeskustelun.
Kurssi on intensiivitoteutus ja vaatii aktiivista panosta. Ohjauskerroille edellytetään aktiivista osallistumista. Opintojakso koostuu itsenäisestä opiskelusta ja projektityöskentelystä oman projektiryhmän toteutussuunnitelman mukaisesti, verkko-ohjauksista ja tehtävistä, jotka sisältyvät projektityöhön.

KURSSI ON INTENSIIVIKURSSI; Aktiivista osallistumista edellytetään koko opintojakson ajan ja läsnäoloa verkko-ohjauksissa.
Kesätoteutuksen innovaatioprojektit toteutuvat pääsääntöisesti täysin etänä. Tarkista ilmoittautuessasi haasteen ohjaustapa projektihaastelomakkeesta, jossa kerrotaan sisältääkö projekti myös lähitapaamisia. Ohjaustapaan vaikuttavat sekä ohjaavan opettajan että asiakkaan toiveet ja tarpeet.
Kesto 27.5. - 31.7.2024 + palautekeskustelu elokuussa.
Projektiryhmät työskentelevät itsenäisesti projekti- ja työsuunnitelman mukaisesti pitäen työaikaseurantaa.
HUOM.
Ennen tämän opintojakson suorittamista opiskelijalla pitää olla suoritettuna opintoja vähintään 60 op.
Kursille hyväksytään ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä jos op täyttyvät.
Opettajan laatimat tehtävät ja MATERIAALIT ovat Tekijänoikeuslain (404/61) mukaisia teoksia, joihin opettajalla on tekijänoikeus. Tehtäviä JA MATERIAALEJA ei saa käyttää muuten kuin omissa opinnoissaan. Niiden julkinen levittäminen on sallittua vain opettajan luvalla.
