Objective
- detect the different stages of caries in the dentition
- are able to plan the caries prevention and the treatment for arresting caries individually taking into account the caries risk factors
- recognize the instruments, equipments and materials of cariological oral care
- can explain the processes of restorative oral care
- are able to make fillings in simulation environment and finish them up
- organize their work and work in accordance with safety instructions, economically and ecologically
- Practice teamwork in diverse oral health care settings and multidisciplinary teams

Further information
Compulsory attendance at classes and in skills lab.
Skills lab-sessions consists of lecture (first) and practical training. Lectures begins at 8.30 or 12.30 when attendance is required. If a student is late 15 minutes or more, he/she may not partisipate the lecture or practical excercises.
If non-attendance, student is obligated to acquire knowledge and skills independently.
Completed Dentistry I is requirement of attendance.
The student confirms his/her participation in the course by being present at the beginning of the first lesson or by agreeing on it with the teacher in other ways.
