Objective

Students
- can apply the theoretical and clinical competence required by the clinical practice environment to their midwifery practice
- are competent in the main procedures and diagnostic examinations of the clinical practice environment as part of the client/patient’s overall care
- adopt a client-oriented approach to nursing maintaining and promoting the health of clients/patients and their significant others
- follow the ethical guidelines and principles of midwifery
- work responsibly as members of multiprofessional work groups and work communities
- identify development needs of nursing and midwifery
- are competent in working life skills
- are able to evaluate their professional competence and develop it further
