Objective

Students
- are aware of the recommendations and clinical pathways concerning high-risk pregnancies
- are familiar with the most common types of high-risk pregnancies and complications during childbirth and factors affecting them
- have competence to manage both high- and low-risk pregnancies independently as members of multiprofessional work groups
- are able to anticipate possible complications during pregnancy and childbirth
- are proficient in the necessary evidence-based theoretical knowledge and clinical skills to observe and care for the wellbeing of mother and foetus during high-risk pregnancies and childbirths with complications
