Objective

Learning outcomes
The student
- is familiar with the research process and the principles of development work based on research
- is familiar with information seeking and analysis methods applicable to development work as well as other work methods
- understands the justification for methods and instruments used in development work
- understands the significance of concise research knowledge to the development and implementation of common practices

Location and time

Moodle-työtila on avoinna 15.1.–22.5.2024. Kurssilla on väljä viikkokohtainen aikataulu, ja edetä voi seuraavaan osioon, kun edellinen on suoritettu. Menetelmäpajat kuuluvat opintojaksoon.

- Laadullisen aineiston analyysi 15.3. klo 9–10.30 (vaihtoehtona 16.5. klo 9.00–10.30)
- Kirjallisuuskatsaus 15.3. klo 12.30–14.00 (vaihtoehtona 17.5. klo 9.00–10.30)

Määrällinen tutkimus:
- Määrällisen aineiston kerääminen 11.3. klo 9.00–10.30 (vaihtoehtona 14.5. klo 9.00–10.30)
- Määrällisen aineiston analyysi 12.3. klo 9.00–10.30 (vaihtoehtona 13.5. klo 9.00–10.30)

Kehittämistyö:
- Kehittämistyön prosessi 12.3. klo 12.30–14.00 (vaihtoehtona 7.5. klo 9.00–10.30)
- Kehittämistyön menetelmät 13.3. klo 12.30–14.00 (vaihtoehtona 15.5. klo 9.00–10.30)

Materials

Opiskelumateriaali esitellään Moodle-työtilassa.

Teaching methods

Opintojakson suorittaminen perustuu itsenäiseen opiskeluun Moodlessa sekä menetelmäpajoihin.

Työmuotoja ovat harjoitukset, tehtävät, keskustelu, pajat sekä itsearviointi. Kaikki tehtävät palautetaan Moodle-työtilaan.

Opintojakso on yhteinen toimintaterapian (AMK) -tutkinnon opiskelijoiden kanssa.

Huomioi, että sinun tulee olla suorittanut aiemmissa opinnoissasi 5 op:n laajuinen opintojakso, jossa olet tutustunut tutkimus- ja kehitystoimintaan omalla alallasi.

Tämä opintojakso tutustuttaa sinut TKI-työn menetelmiin ja sijoittuu opinnoissasi kohtaan, jossa alat suunnitella omaa opinnäytetyötäsi.

- adheres to the ethical principles of the profession
- works in a goal-driven way in working groups or projects

Excellent (5)
The student
- uses the concepts and knowledge base of the field in an expert way
- understands the justification for the use of information sources
- is able to justify activities using researched knowledge or studies - works in diverse and international tasks and work situations
- works in a client-centric and entrepreneurial way

- is able to justify their activities with the ethical principles of the profession - organises and steers the activities of a team or project
