Objective

The Students
• describe the effects of an ageing population as a societal phenomenon
• recognise the importance of national and international ageing policy objectives for the development and planning of services
• are able to acquire relevant information concerning the municipal health and social services system
• identify opportunities for older people to be included as members of society
• are able to describe the impact of digitalisation on services for older people
• identify factors affecting society's perception of age

• the current state of the welfare society
• societal impacts of the ageing population
• objectives and means of national and international ageing policy
• service structure and service provider responsibility, as well as public, private and the third sector actors as service providers for the older people
• services for the older people and digitalisation
• memory-friendliness
