Objective

The student is able to define a project, draw a timetable for it and estimate the cost of a project. The student knows the key factors in risk management and understands the main requirements and needed fields of know-how for the project. The student is able to act as a project manager. The student is able to report the results gained in the project and/or of the R&D and estimate the reliability, profitability and ethicality of the same. The student is able apply the results of R&D or a project in his/her own work.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student understands the key requirements and the process of project work. The student is able to describe the main features of a project plan and give an approximate cost estimate. The student understands the relevance of risk management. The student is able to some extent to apply project-based elements in her/his own professional practice.

The student understands the key requirements and the process of project work. The student is able to plan a project, make a cost estimation and timetable and reliably report the results of his/her project. The student understands the relevance of risk management and is able to analyze and apply risk assessment for her/his own project. The student is able to act as an expert in a project and understands the requirements of project work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has deep understanding of the nature, the process and the requirements of project work. The student is able to plan a project, make a reliable cost estimation and timetable for his/her project. The student is able to make a reliable report of the results of a project. The student is able to estimate and manage the risks of a project. The student is able to act in a leading position of a project. The student is able to report the results of a project and R&D work and estimate the reliability, ethicality and profitability of a project. The student is able apply gained knowledge in his/her own work.
