Objective

The students learn the theoretical and practical fundamentals of socio-pedagogical creative methods. They can plan, implement, and assess socio-pedagogical creative methods in a participatory goal-oriented way considering the needs of the individuals and communities. The students are aware of advocacy as a method to raise awareness of identified needs for a change in the larger society.

Content

Creative methods as a tool for expressing and sharing meanings, emotions, and experiences. Socio-pedagogical principles in facilitating creative methods. Advocacy, goal-oriented facilitating, planning and evaluation. Reflecting together. Simple Finnish vocabulary and phrases used in interactions with diverse service users.
