Objective

The students are introduced to research methods.
The students understand the importance of representation.
The students can interpret characters and their meaning.
The students are able to identify and define characters and their functions within a narrative.
The students are introduced to diversity within the Finnish media landscape.
The students are able to gather and analyze data.
The students can present data in an understandable form.

- Mapping out characters in narratives.
- Analyzing diversity in characters.
- Understanding representation and functionality of characters.
- Introduction to research and ethics.
- Introduction to questions of representation.
