Objective

The student is able to describe the main content, terminology and key competencies of the osteopathy as well as historic framework. The student is knowledgeable about the organization of osteopathic services, recognizes the aspects of the quality osteopathy and is committed to developing them. The student is able to describe the student’s own field, national and international networks and is able to utilize them in the study and work.

The student is able to search, assess and critically explain evidence-based individual study field information, professional practices and understands the meaning of evidence-based information. The student manages critical thinking, the rationale for forming concepts and theories, and understands the meaning of information processing in development work. The student is able to describe proper ethical practices for research and development projects. The student recognizes the changes in them and applies the information in client evaluation.

The student is familiar with the basics of first aid.
