Learning outcomes

After completing the study module, the teacher understands the goal of multidisciplinary innovation pedagogy in Metropolia and the curriculum as a guide for implementation. The teacher is able to apply the theory and practices of innovation pedagogy in the design of guidance. He understands the opportunities and challenges of multidisciplinary and the good practices of multidisciplinary team leadership. He / she is able to build co-operation in working life and apply the tools of innovation in guidance. He understands the stages of innovation processes and is able to organize demonstrations. The teacher understands the definitions of innovation competence, the stages of innovation processes and phased learning and multidisciplinary systems. He / she is able to facilitate self-assessment, peer and impact assessment and assist the social partner in the assessment.

Prerequisites

In Metropolia as a lecturer for a minimum of 2 semesters. Master's degree. Teacher's pedagogical studies completed.

Verkko-oppimisalusta Moodlessa, etäluentoja, tehtäviä, monialaista yhteistyötä, työssäoppimista.

Student workload

Opintojakso on opettajille vapaaehtoinen. Opintojakso on suunniteltu opettajan työn ohella suoritettavaksi ammattitaitoa ylläpitäväksi täydennyskoulutukseksi. Oman esimiehen kanssa voidaan sopia täydennyskouluttautumisesta samoin kuin muustakin opettajan ammattitaidon kehittämisestä todetun tarpeen mukaan (esim. jokaisen Metropolian opettajan työajassa on itsensä kehittämisen resurssi). Osallistuvalle opettajalle varataan vähintään työaikaresurssi Monialainen innovaatioprojekti 10 op -opintojakson ohjaajana joko pariopetukseen tai yksin (vastaa kurssin työssäoppimisjaksoa). Tästä on ennakkoon sovittava oman esimiehen kanssa.

16.1.2023 klo 14-16 Johdatus monialaiseen innovaatiopedagogiikkaan: Teoriaa perustuen tutkimuksiin ja käytännöt Metropoliassa. Ideointi ja konseptointi. Opeparien ja -tiimien muodostaminen: Tehkää innovaatio!
23.1.2023 klo 14-16 Työelämäyhteistyö, avoimet haasteet ja opettajan rooli, innovaatioprosessit ja vaiheistettu oppiminen. Leijonanluola -menetelmä, asiakkaan ja tuomariston työ, valmentava arviointi.
30.1.2023 klo 14-16 30 Innovaatiokompetenssi ja sen arvioinnin metodit, monialaisuuden hyödyt ja monialaisten tiimien ohjaus.
6.2.2023 klo 14-16. Leijonanluola. Tiimien valmennus. Kohti protoja ja testausta. Kuukauden kehitystyö alkaa.

6.3.2023 klo 14-16 Tiimien valmennus. Implementoinnin suunnittelu, yrittäjyyden koeponnistaminen. Tiimien valmennus.
13.3.2023 klo 14-16 Lukupiiri, opetiimien tuotteiden ja palvelujen, toimintamallien esittelyt. Vertaisarviointi, yhteiskunnallisten vaikutusten selvittäminen, asiakasyhteistyön jatkuminen ja innovaatiotoiminnan tutkimus.

Lisäksi tiimien omaa innovaatiotyötä tiimin sopimina aikoina.

Assessment methods and criteria

Approved performance requires 80% performance. The teacher receives the certificate of the tutor of the Multidisciplinary Innovation Project and credits to his / her study register for his / her studies at the Open University of Applied Sciences.
